Contemporary ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ (in-person)

Free Young People's Workshop

Join us in-person at the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ to discuss and discover contemporary artwork within the collection.

Attendees will take a trip around the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Gallery looking at artwork from Rachel Jones to Cecily Brown. We will hear from Elena, Senior Curator of Contemporary Art at the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ on how you integrate contemporary artworks into a collection which is famous for its 1800s artworks. We will also visit the Prints & Drawings and take part in a short practical workshop making a contemporary response to a ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ painting.

Contemporary ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ will be run by art historian Fran Herrick and National Schools Officer, Tessa Carr.
