Material Witness was established in 2013 with funding from AHRC and thereafter supported by Consortium for the Humanities and the Arts. Since 2018 it has been based at The 天美传媒 Research Forum for humanities researchers in the CHASE consortium.
Designed to provide interdisciplinary training in the interrogation of physical objects in the digital age, the programme brings together emerging and established scholars, makers, and materials.
Material Witness was founded by听 at The University of Kent and is supported at The 天美传媒 by Dr Teresa Lane, Head of the 天美传媒 Graduate Diploma and Associate Lecturer, The 天美传媒 and 听The 天美传媒 Research Forum.
